Holy shit, I haven't posted anything for a week? Wow, talk about being slack! What have I been up to? Slowly getting ready for the move back to my parents house (which is happening this weekend), being stressed about money (which doesn't go away), and being all *bleh* about work (not much I can do about that). I'm hoping shit will be better in a few weeks.
So yeah, have been occupied with all this other stuff, and haven't enjoyed gaming as much as usual. Splinter Cell: Conviction has been awesome though, I highly recommend you try that out (currently only out on Xbox 360). Sam Fisher is very much a badass.
Another thing which has kept me busy this week is playoff hockey. Being a Canucks fan, I can never be too comfortable, as they always find a way to lose when they shouldn't. It has been a very up and down series with the Los Angeles Kings, but the Canucks had an awesome road win to tie the series at 2-2. The game played today was an amazing game, but I can never be too confident.
Being playoff time, everyone has to step up their games, and the Green Men have really brought their A-game...
GO CANUCKS GO!
So ignoring everything else in this post..
ReplyDeleteSoctty, Spinter Cell Convictions, awesome? It is a shit game. Its made for shithead babies and morons who can't think or see past what the TV is blaring at them. Where the fuck are all the people from the previous SC games and why aren't they saying what I'm saying now? Is this really what games are? Pushing series of buttons and watch the cinematic? What about having a playing area of only a few feet wide? or perhaps being forced to do something exactly as some designer wants? No freedom, no choice. could go on and on about this one, sooo much ammunition.
and then
i could same the same about BFBC2. BFBC1? large open playing fields, take your own route. BFBC2? Standard issue straight line crap. Build a fan base on the first game, and then fuck then up the ass with the sequel.
/rant! :)
